I.   These Passionate Desires of God

“that there was such a heart

in them

that they would fear Me”

for the good of these people, to

“keep all My Commandments

always,

that it might be well with them,

and with their children forever.”

are

‘said’ to be irreconcilable

with His Decrees of Election and Reprobation.

And then supposing that

God’s Decrees of Election and Reprobation

to be True

these Decrees are then

‘said’ to be hypocritical:

So, to these assertions

that God Desires

for the good of these people,

are ‘irreconcilable’

with His Decrees of Election

and Reprobation

and that

they are then ‘are hypocritical’:

may be replied;

1.   For God

to Passionately Wish Good Things,

AND even Salvation itself,

for some Individual souls of Mankind,

and then

for God

to Passionately NOT Wish Good Things,

OR, even Salvation itself,

on all Individual souls of Mankind,

without exception,

are in no way contrary,

to The Doctrine of Election,

but are Both Perfectly Agreeable

to The Doctrine of Election.

If anything is said as an accusation

 against that Doctrine,

it ought to be said and proven,

that

‘God has Passionately

Desired the Salvation

of all mankind’;

Then when we view these words

“that there was such a heart

in them

that they would fear Me”

for the good of these people, to

“keep all My Commandments

always,

that it might be well with them,

and with their children forever.”

we see that they can be no proof,

that

‘God has Passionately

Desired the Salvation

of all mankind’;

since these words are Said by God

only with regard the people of Israel,

who we read

in Deuteronomy 7:7

were the

“fewest

of all people”.

Deuteronomy 7:7

“The LORD

did not set His Love on you,

nor Choose you,

because you were

more in number

than any people;

because you were

the fewest of all people.”

As for those Scriptures

which represent God

as Willing

all men to be saved”;

FOR EXAMPLE:

1 Timothy 2:3-5;

3 “This is Good and Pleasing

in the Sight of God our Savior,

4 “Who Desires all men to Be Saved

 and to Come to

 the Knowledge of the Truth.

5 “Because there is One God

and One Mediator

between God and men,

the Man Christ Jesus,…”

where

“all men”

will mean,

“all kinds of men”,

including

JEWS AND GENTILES,

in other words,

“God our Savior,

Who Desires all men to be Saved”

with “all men”,

meaning

NOT JUST JEWISH MEN

but,

JEWS AND GENTILES.

And in 2 Peter 3:9;

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise

as some understand slowness,

but is Patient with you,

 not wanting anyone to perish”,

but everyone to come to repentance”,

which would need to be read as;

“The Lord…

is Patient with you,

 not wanting

anyone” OF YOU “to perish”,

…

And it may helpful

to see this same Scripture

in a more accurate

and precise Translation

from The King James;

“The Lord is not slack

concerning His Promise,

as some men count slackness;

but is Longsuffering

to us-ward,

not Willing

that any should Perish,

but that all should come to Repentance.”

I Believe God

would Have us Understand

that He is Saying;

“The Lord is not Slack

concerning His Promise,…

but is Long Suffering

to US-WARD,

not Willing that any”

> OF US-WARD <

“should Perish”.

*****

So, in these Passages,

nor in any other Passages in The Bible,

can be seen any proof,

that

‘God has Passionately

Desired the Salvation

of all mankind’;

AND

that these Passages are

in no way contrary,

to The Doctrine of Election.

AND

THAT THEY ARE ALSO ALL

Perfectly Agreeable

to The Doctrine of Election.

 “everyone

that Believes…”
