How DO YOU Escape THE WRATH of GOD ? BY BEING Secured from it by the Decree of God.

There are some Individual People

on whom No Wrath of God Comes,

here on Earth,

& on whom No Wrath of God will Fall,

hereafter, when their soul is required

to be returned to God.

Who are these Particular Individual People ?

God calls THEM the Vessels of Mercy,

that were BEFORE Prepared for Glory:

Concerning these Individuals,

Jehovah God Almighty says,

“Fury is not in Me”

*

The Triune Jehovah Godhead is All Love,

to these souls of mankind.

“Love”

itself, as 1 John 4:16;

“And we have known

and believed the Love

that God has to us.

God is Love;

and He that Dwells in Love

dwells in God,

and God in him.”

So, are they Sinners ?

“All have Sinned” ?

Sure.

*

The Historical FACT and RECORD before GOD 

is that these Individuals are sinners indeed,

and transgressors of the Law of God,

and they are Children of Wrath as others,

( as in Ephesians. 2:3;

“Among whom also

we all had our behaviors in times past

in the lusts of our flesh,

fulfilling the desires of the flesh

and of the mind;

and were by nature

the children of wrath,

even as others )

which phrase not only means

that these People where serving Wrath,

but that, as they are sinners,

they where found guilty of not only serving Sin and Wrath,

but these People where ACTUALLY condemned

BY THEIR SINS AGAINST GOD.

THESE SOULS

THAT God calls the Vessels of Mercy,

that were BEFORE Prepared for Glory,

 where really under the Sentence of Wrath,

Condemnation, and Death ?

YES.

THEY SAY, ?

“And we have known

and

Bbelieved the Love

that God has to us.

God is Love;

and

He that Dwells in Love

Dwells in God,

and

God in him”

 …

AND YET THEY WHERE STILL EXPOSED

to the Curse of the Law,

which is NONE OTHER than the Wrath of God ?

TO GOD’S LAW,

AS ALL OTHER NATURALLY BORN SINNERS.

The Decree of God ?

IT IS GOD, BY GOD’S DECREE,

Who has Appointed these Individual Souls

not to Wrath,

but to Obtain Salvation, as God Tells us,

in 1 Thessalonians 5:9;

“For God

has not Appointed

us to Wrath,

but to Obtain

Salvation

by our Lord

Jesus Christ”.

THE DECREE OF GOD is Un-Frustrable

by the Oath of God,

Who has Swore that He will not be Wrath

with them, in Isaiah 54:9;

“For this is as the waters of Noah

to Me: for as I have Sworn

that the waters of Noah should no more

go over the earth;

so have I Sworn

that I would not be Wroth with you,

nor Rebuke you.”

THE ETERNAL DECREE OF GOD is Immutable/ Un-Changable:

by the Surety-ship Engagements of Jesus Christ

for these Chosen Vessels of Mercy,

as Jesus Bore their Wrath in their Place.

Jesus Bore the Wrath of God fro them

until that was Finished.

On the Just Basis that Jesus Bore God’s Wrath

the Individual’s themselves deserved,

God Restrained to Execute the Sentence,

ON THE CHOSEN VESSELS of MERCY.

THIS IS Called the Forbearance of God,

in Romans 3:25;

“Whom God has

set forth ( JESUS )

to be a Propitiation

( an Act of Appeasing God’s Justice

and Wrath of the Offended Godhead

and being Reconciled to God )

through Faith in His blood,

to Declare His Righteousness

for the Remission of sins

that are past,

through the

Forbearance of God”.

Jesus Christ’s actually Bore the Chastisement,

or THEIR PUNISHMENT of them TO OBTAIN Peace;

by JESUS CHRIST being Made a Curse

for them,

and BY JESUS Enduring the Wrath of God

in their PLACE.

  BY DOING SO, JESUS Delivered these souls

of lost sinners,

from Wrath of God to Come,

( Psalm 89:38;

“But You

(God)

have Cast Off and Abhorred,

You

(God)

have been Wroth with Your Anointed

( Jesus )

&  1 Thessalonians 5:10;

” Who Died for us

(JESUS ),

that,

whether we wake or sleep,

we should live together with Him.”

And by JESUS’ Righteousness,

OR PERFECT LIFE,

HE OBTAINED

WHEN JESUS LIVED PERFECTLY

UNDER THE LAW OF GOD ON EARTH,

being GIVEN, OR imputed to these Souls,

they are being Justified, by God,

Who NOW SEES THEM PERFECT,

( BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN

GIVEN JESUS’ PERFECT LIFE,

IN EXCHANGE FOR JESUS

DYING FOR THEIR SINS).

THESE SINNERS are Saved

from THE WRATH OF GOD,

Romans 5:9;

“Much more then,

being now Justified

by His Blood,

we will be Saved

from Wrath

through Him.”

( JESUS )

God’s Law is the Administration of Condemnation and Death ON PEOPLE WHO DON’T “BELIEVE”.

ALL have Sinned,

and are ALL ARE Under

THE POWER of Sin.

ALL HUMAN BEINGS

ARE “CHILDREN of WRATH”,

Romans 1:18;

“For the Wrath of God

is Revealed from Heaven

against all ungodliness

and unrighteousness of men,

who hold the truth

in unrighteousness”;

Ephesians 2:3;

“Among whom also we all

had our behavior

in times past

in the lusts of our flesh,

fulfilling the desires of the flesh

and of the mind;

and were by nature

the children of wrath,

even as others.”

However,

there are some particularly individuals described,

on whom this Wrath of God Comes,

and they are called

“children of disobedience”,

in Ephesians 5:5, 6;

“For this you know,

that no whoremonger,

nor unclean person,

nor covetous man,

who is an idolater,

has any inheritance

in the kingdom of Christ

and of God.

Let no man deceive you

with vain words:

for because of these things

Comes the Wrath of God

upon

the children of disobedience.”

These individual human beings

who are spoken of, by God,

as the “children of disobedience”,

consist of any naturally born souls of mankind

who are disobedient to the light of nature,

rebel against the light of nature revealed to them

and conclude that there is truth in unrighteousness,

And ARE THEY who are also disobedient

to the Law of God, break it,

and are convicted by It, as transgressors.

These individual “children of disobedience”,

are THE ONES whom God’s Law Pronounces Guilty.

*

God’s Law, then,

is the Administration of Condemnation

and Death to them.

 These are individual human beings

who are disobedient to the Gospel of Christ,

they do not obey The truth,

but they DO Obey unrighteousness,

and they are slaves to their sinful lusts and pleasures.

On these “children of disobedience”

comes Indignation and Wrath,

Tribulation and Anguish;

even on every soul of man that does evil,

& as in 2 Thessalonians 1:8;

“In flaming fire taking vengeance

on them that know not God,

and that obey not the Gospel

of our Lord Jesus Christ”

And in Romans 2:8, 9;

“but to those who

are selfishly ambitious

and do not obey the truth,

but obey unrighteousness,

wrath and indignation.

There will be

tribulation and distress

for every soul of man

who does evil,

of the Jew first

and also of the Greek.”

These people DON’T BELIEVE.

And they are represented as unbelievers,

IN THE BIBLE:

 “He that

believes not the Son,

will not see Life;

but the Wrath of God

Abides on him”:

The person that does not believe

that Jesus Christ is the Son of God,

that Jesus Christ is the Messiah

and Savior of men,

HAS the Sentence of Wrath

REMAINING ON THEM.

 The Sentence of Wrath

IS PASSED ONTO THEM by the Law,

making them a transgressor

of that LAW of GOD.

And since this UNBELIEVER

denies Divine Revelation

and rejects

the Gospel Plan of Eternal Salvation

through Jesus Christ

and

disbelieves Christ as a Savior,

and

that Salvation is by Jesus,

there is no help for that

Individual Human Being’s soul.

The Wrath of GOD is

on THAT PERSON’S SOUL,

and

without THE Remedy,

of SALVATION

THROUGH THE SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST,

The Wrath of GOD

must

REMAIN COVERING THEM

by The RIGHTIOUS JUSTICE of GOD.

“How will they believe on Him

of Whom they have not heard?”

(Rom. 10:14, 17)

This is speaking of those individuals

who have HEARD the GOSPEL,

but they still have disbelief

in the report of the Gospel.

These Individuals have the opportunity

of reading and hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ;

that Jesus Died, was Buried and Rose Again

as a Substitution and Satisfaction

of the Justice of God,

for the Sins of those who BELIEVE

and yet these particular UNBELIEVERS

either DO NOT RESPOND AND Attend

to the Evidence of the Gospel of Jesus Christ;

or, THEY ‘GATHER THE MESSAGE’

BEING PRESENTED

and reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

They SIMPLY DO NOT RECIEVE

the record God has Given of His Son,

and so THEY “make Him a liar”,

and there IS NOTHING that is more provoking

to THE Wrath of the Creator God of the Universe

AS GOD has Revealed to all mankind,

 in 1 John 5:10;

” He that believes on the Son of God

has the Witness in himself:

he that believes not God

has made Him a liar;

because he believes not

the record that God gave of His Son.”

This was the case of the Jews of old,

given to the whole world AS AN EXAMPLE,

in John 3:19;

“And this is the Condemnation,

that Light is Come into the world,

and men loved darkness

rather than Light,

because their deeds

were evil.”

 AND THIS IS THE SAME CASE

OF ‘RELIGIOUSLY LOST’ INDIVIDUALS

of the present age.

What is the Meaning of

GOD’S WRATH REVEALED ?

Wrath is Revealed against all unrighteousness and ungodliness of men;

 The Wrath of God lies against and hovers over

all that are unrighteous and ungodly;

and as ALL have Sinned,

and WE are ALL ARE Under THE POWER of Sin,

The Heat of GOD’S Great Anger is His Anger not only Kindled and Incensed,

but Blown Up into a Flame; it is the “Indignation” of His Anger,

THE ANGER AND WRATH OF GOD.

2b. There is the Wrath of God that is yet to Come.

There is the Wrath of God that is yet to come:

The Scriptures speak of future Wrath;

Wrath that will take place in the life which is to come;

which in part, commences at the death of wicked men;

and will be complete at their resurrection from the dead

as in Matthew 3:7;

“But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said to them, O generation of vipers, who has warned you to flee from the Wrath to Come?”

& 1 Thessalonians 1:10;

“And to wait for His Son from Heaven, Whom He Raised from the dead, even Jesus, which Delivered us from the Wrath to Come.”

This WRATH of GOD is Expressed by Fire,

A FIRE of which nothing is more intolerable;

This Fiery Wrath of God is Devouring Fire and Everlasting Burnings,

not to be endured;

This is none other than the Curse of the Law that is broken;

The Curse of the Law that is broken BY INDIVIDUAL SINNERS not only reaches to this life, but to that which is to come;

The Curse of the Law that is broken BY INDIVIDUAL SINNERS is the same with the second death; which is an Eternal separation from God,

In the sense of God’s Hot Displeasure;

This Fiery Wrath of God is called Hell and Hellfire;

The word for Hell and Hellfire, in the New Testament, is taken from Gehinnom, or the valley of Hinnom;

where the Jews burnt their children in sacrifice to Molech;

Gehinnom, or the valley of Hinnom is the place, from the beating of drums in it, that the shrieks of the children might not be heard by their parents,

was called Tophet;

Tophet of which the prophet says, as an emblem of Hellfire,

or the Fire of Divine Wrath;

“Tophet is ordained of old–the pile thereof is fire, and much wood:

the Breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone, does Kindle it”, (Isa. 30:33).

THIS awful representation of the Wrath of God IS A REVELATION of GOD.

And by whatsoever term this “HELLFIRE” State of Wrath is expressed,

it is always spoken of as what will continue Forever:

This Fiery Wrath of HELLFIRE by God is called Everlasting Fire,

Everlasting Punishment,

Everlasting Destruction,

“the smoke of torment,

that ascends forever and ever”;

For the BEGINNING of This Fiery Wrath of HELLFIRE by God and the Commencement of which, in its full extent, there is a day fixed, called,

“the Day of Wrath,

and Righteous

Judgment of God”;

Until

“the Day of Wrath, and Righteous Judgment of God”;

the Day and Time God Reserves Wrath for His adversaries;

The Fiery Wrath of God’s HELLFIRE is laid up in store with Him,

among  HIS TREASURES,

and the Wrath of God that is NOW yet to Come

 will THEN be Forever Laying Out, and Pouring Forth.

OTHER INSTANCES OF THE WRATH OF GOD UPON MEN Include JESUS’ DEATH.

OTHER INSTANCES OF THE WRATH OF GOD UPON MEN

include the affair of Korah, and Korah’s accomplices, when Wrath went forth from the Lord, and the plague began, (Num. 14:23, 16:46).

Witness, also, each of the captivities OF THE CHILDREN of ISRAEL; particularly their captivity in Babylon,

through their mocking at, and misuse of the prophets of the Lord;

GOD’S Wrath Arose against them; and there was no remedy;

And TO THE LAST CAPTIVITY of the CHILDREN of ISRAEL

and THEIR destruction, by the Romans;

when GOD’S Wrath came upon them to the uttermost.

 The CHILDREN of ISRAEL WERE Under GOD’S Wrath, THEN

and THEY ARE in THAT Captivity to this day.

Whenever the Four Sore Judgments of God, the Sword, Famine, Pestilence, and Wild Beasts, have been exercised in the world, as they often have been;

they are always in  GOD’S Wrath;

ALONG WITH earthquakes, and such like uncommon events, are Pre-significations  and FORESHADOWINGS of greater Wrath yet to Come;

IN A Little while, the Seven Vials Full of the Wrath of God, will be Poured forth on Antichrist, and on the Antichristian states;

and the Judgment of God will Come on Babylon in one day.

And when the End of All Things is Come,

the earth, and all in it will be Burnt with Fire,

and the Heavens melt away with fervent heat;

The day of the Lord will Burn like an Oven,

And the wicked, like stubble, will be burnt up by it,

and will have neither root nor branch left:

All OF THIS IS expressive of the Great Wrath of God.

But there is no greater instance of the Great Wrath of God, or what more fully Demonstrates THE Wrath of God, than what our Lord Jesus Christ Suffered and Endured as the Surety of His people, in their room and IN THEIR PLACE.

When, their sins being imputed to JESUS, were found on Him,

and JESUS was Stricken for them;

the Sword of Justice was Sheathed in Him;

the Vindictive Wrath of God was Poured Forth upon Him,

to the uttermost of the Demerit of sin;

God Spared Him not.

How inconceivably great must GOD’S Wrath be against sin,

when God Spared not in the least His Own Dearly Beloved Son,

but PERMITTED Him to be put to the most Exquisite pain,

both in Body and Soul,

for the sins

of His people!

Instances of the Wrath of God we’ve seen are Examples of the Vengeance of Eternal Fire.

Now WE CONSIDER the Wrath of God.

WE WILL FIRST CONSIDER the Wrath of God as temporary, or the Wrath of God THAT IS executed in the present life;

of which there have been many instances and examples.

And there will be more that we see of the Wrath of God.

Let’s consider a brief review of the Wrath of God that will give us a bigger idea of what God means by The Wrath of God.

We could take notice of the apostate angels, whom God has Cast Down to Hell; where, though the apostate angels may not be in full torment, yet they are dreadful instances of the Wrath of God against sin.

How ?

Not one of the apostate angels have been spared,

or have shared in Pardoning Grace and Mercy.

Then we can observe what examples of the Wrath of God have been,

or will be, among men.

The first instance of the Wrath of God among men is in the Condemnation of Adam, and all Adam’s posterity, which means ALL of US THAT ARE HUMAN BEINGS, for the first sin, and for only one single sin of Adam’s.

How great that sin must be! what sinfulness there must be

in only one single sin of Adam’s!

How greatly must the Divine TRIUNE GODHEAD be Incensed by it!

and that, for the first sin.

ADAM has caused Death, that is, GOD’S WRATH to pass in Judgment on him, and all of Adam’s offspring; so that, in consequence of it, all the children of Adam are the children of God’s Wrath.

The next instance of the Wrath of God among men is the drowning of the old world, when full of violence and corruption;

so that God Repented He had Made man in the world,

and God having Made man and Seeing them sin grieved Him to the Heart;

and in GOD’S WRATH He Determined to Destroy man and beast

in ALL THE EARTH;

and He did, by bringing a flood on the world of the ungodly.

Then follows another instance of the Wrath of God among men, though not so general; but limited and restrained to a part of the world;

the Wrath of God FELL ON the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, and others of the plain; whose inhabitants being notorious sinners, Provoked the Eyes of God’s Glory to such a degree, that He Rained Fire and Brimstone from Heaven upon them; and set them as an example

and emblem of men suffering the Vengeance of Eternal Fire.

The next example of an instance of the Wrath of God among men is the plagues inflicted on the Egyptians, for not letting Israel go., when GOD Demanded THE EGYPTIANS to LET the ISRAELITES GO.

By inflicting these PLAGUES on the EGYPTIANS  GOD not only made His Anger to show forth, as the Psalmist says; but, as the Psalmist also observes,

“He Cast upon them the Fierceness of His Anger, Wrath, Indignation, and Trouble”, (Ps. 78:49, 50).

AND, THEN ALSO, the children of Israel themselves often Provoked the Lord to Wrath; and brought THE WRATH of GOD down upon them, for their sins.

One example of the children of Israel bringing THE WRATH of GOD down upon themselves, for their sins was at Horeb,

when the children of Israel made the calf;

Another example took place at Taberah, Massah and Kibroth Hattaavah where the children of Israel murmured against the Lord,

(Deut. 9:8, 19, 22) as the children of Israel did likewise at the report of the spies,

concerning the land of Canaan;

when

“God Swore

in His Wrath,

they should not

enter into His Rest.”

The Wrath of God is the Heat of GOD’S Great Anger shown in GOD’S Punitive Justice.

The Wrath of God is the Heat of GOD’S Great Anger, as in

Deuteronomy 29:24; “Even all nations will say, Wherefore has the LORD Done this to this land?

what does the Heat of this Great Anger mean?”

THE HEAT of GOD’S GREAT ANGER Kindled to WRATH and Incensed,

IS WHEN GOD’S ANGER is Blown Up into a Flame;

The Wrath of God is the “indignation” of His Anger, AND the “Fury” and “Fierceness” of GOD’S ANGER, shown in Isaiah 30:30;

“And the LORD will Cause His Glorious Voice to be Heard, and Will Shew the lighting down of His Arm, with the Indignation of His Anger, and with the Flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.”

Isaiah 42:25;

“Therefore He has Poured on him the Fury of His Anger, and the Strength of Battle: and it has set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.”

& in Hosea 11:9;

“I will not Execute the Fierceness of My Anger, I will not Return to Destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the Midst of you: and I Will not Enter into the city.”

THIS WRATH of GOD seems to be none other than GOD’S Punitive Justice, and includes His Will to Punish sinners according to the demerit of their sins

in Strict Justice;

AS WELL AS, GOD’S Threatening AND WARNINGS to BRING PUNITIVE JUSTICE, and GOD’S actual Execution of JUDGEMENT;

THIS HOLY Vengeance belongs to GOD, and He Will Recompense;

GOD WILL JUDGE IN HIS Vindictive Wrath,

AND Vengeful Judgment;

 Romans 9:22.

God is Angry with His Own Special People, at Times.

God is Angry with His Own special people, holy and good men;

We read of His Anger being Kindled against Aaron and Miriam,

for speaking against Moses;

and against Moses and Aaron, for not Sanctifying Him

before the children of Israel;

insomuch that neither of them were admitted to enter the land of Canaan;

AND WE SEE GOD ANGRY WITH HIS SPECIAL PEOPLE;

David, Solomon, and others, for sins committed by them.

And this ANGER of GOD is not at all inconsistent with the Love of God to them:

Anger is not opposite to Love;

There may be anger in the nearest and dearest relatives; and where there is the most affectionate regard to each other:

The anger of Jacob was kindled against his beloved Rachel;

A father may be angry with his son, and chastise him for a fault,

and yet dearly love him;

And a son may be angry with a father, as Jonathan was with Saul,

yet bear a true filial affection for him.

God Loves His people with an Everlasting and Unchangeable Love, and never alters and varies in it; and yet GOD may be Angry, that is, Displeased with them,

and GOD MAY Show his Resentment at sin committed by them,

by His chastisement of them,

and still Continue His Love to them;

For even that chastisement is done in Love.

Besides, the Anger of God towards them, is often only in the SAVED CHILD of GOD’S sense and apprehension of it; when God Goes Forth towards them, in some Dispensations of His, which are not agreeable to MEN, the SAVED CHILD of GOD may conclude GOD is Angry with them;

And when these Dispensations are varied, and God’s apparent Anger is relieved; then MEN suppose GOD’S Anger is Turned Away from them, as in Isaiah 12:1;

“And in that day you will say, O LORD, I will praise You:

although You were Angry with me, Your Anger is Turned Away,

and You comforted me”.

So when GOD Hides His face from PEOPLE, and unbelief prevails, a SAVED CHILD of GOD may interpret it, as God putting them away in Anger, and Shutting Up His Tender Mercies in Anger,

as in Psalm 27:9;

“Hide not Your face far from me; put not Your servant away in Anger: You have been my Help; Leave me not, neither Forsake me, O God of my Salvation.”

& Psalm 77:9;

“Has God forgotten to be Gracious? has He in Anger Shut Up His Tender Mercies? Selah. ( meditate on that)”

When GOD seems to turn a deaf ear to a SAVED CHILD of GOD’S prayers, and does not give an immediate Answer to them; this a SAVED CHILD of GOD may call being Angry against the prayer of His people,

as in Psalm 80:4;

“O LORD God of Hosts, how long will You be Angry against the prayer of Your people?”

and when God Almighty allows His Saved Children to be afflicted, in one way or another, then they apprehend He comes forth in Anger against them;

and “they have no soundness in their flesh, because of His Anger; nor rest in their bones, because of their sins”, (Ps. 38:3)

  However, when their Lord God takes off His afflicting hand, Grants His Gracious Presence, and Manifests His Pardoning Love and Grace, then they conclude He has Turned Himself from the Fierceness of His Anger:

“You have Forgiven the iniquity of Your people, You have Covered all their sin. Selah.

You have Taken Away all Your Wrath: You have Turned Yourself from the Fierceness of Your Anger.”

(Ps. 85:2, 3).

Now this apparent Anger, or appearance of Anger,

“endures

but for a moment”,

(Psalm 30:5)

a very short space of time indeed; although God Hides His Face from His people, and Chides them for their sins: GOD does not Keep Anger For Ever:

Tthis is the criterion by which He is Distinguished from other Gods, in that He Retains not His Anger For Ever, because He Delights in Mercy,

 in Psalm 103:9;

“He will not always Chide: neither will He Keep His Anger For Ever.”

&

Micah 7:18;

“Who is a God like to you, that Pardons Iniquity, and Passes by the transgression of the remnant of His Heritage? He Retains not His Anger For Ever, because He Delights in Mercy.”

 So, the Anger of God towards His people, differs from His Anger to wicked men, since the one is but for a Moment, and the other is Continual.

“God is Angry with the wicked every day”, Psalm 7:11

“God is Angry

because they are daily sinning against Him;

their whole lives are one continued series 

and course of wickedness;

all they do is sin;

their very actions in civil life, 

the WORK of the wicked is sin;

and all their religious services are but “splendida peccata”,

“shining sins”.

And so EVERYTHING THEY DO IS Displeasing to God,

and EVERYTHING THEY DO IS Resented by Him.

The LOST INDIVIDUAL’S sacrifices, brought with a wicked mind, without a right principle, and a right end,

are an Abomination to Him, as in Proverbs 21:4, 27:

“A high look, and a proud heart,

and the plowing (work ) of the wicked, is sin.”

“The sacrifice of the wicked is Abomination: how much more, when he brings it with a wicked mind?”

 THE UNSAVED SOUL, being in the flesh, is in an unregenerate state and they cannot please God, nor do the things

which are pleasing in His Sight;

LOST, NATURALLY BORN HUMAN BEINGS, being destitute of the Grace of God are particularly destitute of Faith;

“without which it is impossible to please Him.”

These, LOST UNSAVED INDIVIDUAL SOULS HAVE God is Angry with them continually, yet they do not always appear under the Visible and Public Tokens of GOD’S Resentment;

The “Rod of God” is not on them AS THEY APPEAR; nor are they in trouble, as other men,

and AT TIMES have more than their heart can wish;

oftentimes their families, flocks, and herds, increase; and they spend their days in health, wealth, and pleasure,

as seen in Job 21:7-13;

“Where do the wicked live, become old,

and are even mighty in power?

Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.

Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the Rod of God on them.

Their bull genders, and fail not;

their cow calves, and casts not her calf.

They send forth their little ones like a flock,

and their children dance.

They take the timbrel and harp,

and rejoice at the sound of the organ.

They spend their days in wealth,

and in a moment go down to the grave.”

& as in Psalms 73:3-12;

“For I was envious at the foolish,

when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.

They are not in trouble as other men;

neither are they plagued like other men.

Therefore pride surrounds them about as a chain;

violence covers them as a garment.

Their eyes stand out with fatness:

they have more than heart could wish.

They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression:

they speak loftily.

They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walks through the earth.

Therefore his people return hither:

and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.

And they say, How does God know?

and is there Knowledge in the most High?

Behold, these are the ungodly,

who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.”

THESE PEOPLE WHO CLAIM NO KNOWLEDGE OF GOD seem as if they were the favorites of Heaven, and think themselves to be such.

But though God is Slow to Anger, as He is often described,

AND HE Moves Slowly to Express His Anger;

yet GOD Will most certainly Express His Anger

in the END issue of things.

And although men may promise themselves impunity in sin, and fancy that they will have peace when they walk after the imagination of their evil hearts, and add sin to sin;

yet at length God will Not Spare them;

GOD’S Anger and Jealousy Will Smoke against them, and all the curses written in the law Will come on them,

SHOWN IN Deuteronomy 29:19, 20;

“And it comes to pass, when he ( the Lost Individual ) hears the Words of this curse, that he blesses himself in his heart, saying, I will have peace, though I walk in the imagination of my own heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: 

The LORD will Not Spare him, but then the Anger of the LORD and His Jealousy Will Smoke against that man, and all the curses that are Written in this Book will lie upon him, and the LORD Will blot out his name from under heaven.”
