The Third Section
IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION
concerns
“The Seven Trumpets” (8:1 – 11:19).
This section ( as all 7 sections do )
encompasses the history of the world;
this time backing up
TO CREATION:
IN REVELATION 10: 5, 6:
“And the angel which I saw stand on the sea and on the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
And swore by Him that Lives
For Ever and Ever,
Who Created Heaven, and the Things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer”,
THEN:
from the First Coming of Christ
WHEN DURING THIS PRESENT PERIOD of TIME
DURING The CHURCH AGE,
SINCE JESUS ASCENDED TO HEAVEN,
HE HAS COMMANDED JOHN, HIS SERVANT,
AND THEREFORE JESUS’ CHURCHES,
AT THAT TIME
AND THROUGHOUT HISTORY:
TO WARN THE WORLD,
BY
“LIFTING UP THEIR VOICE
AS A TRUMPET“,
AS GOD TOLD THE PROPHET ISAIAH
in Isaiah 58:1,
“Cry aloud, spare not,
lift up your voice like a trumpet,
and show My people
their transgression,
and the house of Jacob their sins.”
( demonstrating the “Fits Like a Hand in a Glove”
Principal of DIVINE INTERPRETATION,
which is the process of allowing:
“Scripture to Interpret Scripture”.)
TRUMPETS WARN.
The trumpets announce judgments
upon the world.
( see note following, below * )
The Lord’s churches, established by Jesus’ Authority,
continue to bear witness in Revelation 10 & 11.
“You must prophesy again
before many peoples,
and nations, and tongues,
and kings”,
in Revelation 10:11
& then, in Revelation 11:3, 4:
“I Will Give Power to My two witnesses,
and they will prophesy
a thousand two hundred
and three score days,
clothed in sackcloth.
These are the two olive trees,
and the two candlesticks
standing before
the God of the earth.”
God’s WITNESSES HERE ARE “TWO”.
1.) GOD’S WORD
& 2.) PREACHED BY HIS MESSAGERS,
The Olive Trees
from JESUS CHURCHES,
or “Candlesticks”,
for
“a thousand two hundred
and three score days”,
which is a seemingly endless period of time,
in which Period of Time
WE ARE NOW LIVING.
As with “a thousand years” mentioned
at the end of revelation,
these LONG EXPANSES of TIME
COME TO AN END:
“that there should be time no longer”.
The “a thousand two hundred
and three score days”
AND
“a thousand years”
symbolically represent exactly ONE THING:
The Period of Time
encompassing the history of the world
from the First Coming of Christ
to HIS Second Coming to Earth, at Jesus Return
AND THE END of the WORLD.
At the end of this THIRD of Seven Sections,
JESUS Second Coming is seen here:
IN THESE ALLUSIONS MADE
of the FINAL JUDGEMENT:
in Revelation 11:15:
“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying,
The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord,
and of his Christ; and He Will Reign For Ever and Ever.
& in Revelation 11:18:
“And the nations were angry,
and Your Wrath is Come,
and the Time of the Dead,
that they should be Judged,
and that You should Give Reward
to Your Servants the prophets,
and to the saints,
and them that fear Your Name,
small and great;
and should Destroy them
which destroy the earth.”
