Part 2a.1
ONCE JESUS
RAISED FROM THE DEAD,
JESUS’ HUMAN BODY
BECAME IMMORTAL.

Jesus Christ
was really a Man,
and
is Evident
by His being Obedient
unto Death,
and as for
the Appearances of Jesus Christ
in an Human Form,
before Jesus Came in the flesh:
When the Scriptures speak of
Jesus’ Appearances
in the Old Testament
IF WE WERE TO “SAY”
that those were only “Appearances”,
in some other “form”,
other than in a “real Body
and not real Visits to Earth,
BY JESUS
it still does not follow,
that therefore
Jesus Coming in the flesh,
in the Fullness of Time,
was of the same kind,
OR
“JUST AN APPEARANCE”;
but rather the contrary follows;
and
since these
Appearances of Jesus
in The Old Testament
were
Preludes of Jesus’ Incarnation,
then Jesus’ Incarnation must be Real.
…
AND YET:
some of these
Previous Appearances
by Jesus Christ
in The Old Testament
were not
“merely Appearances”,
but Spiritual
AND
Physical Realities.
…
Real Bodies were Formed
and Made ALIVE, or Animated,
and Made use of for a time,
and then Laid Aside.
…
This seems to be the case
of the three men
that appeared to Abraham.
…
Two of the Individuals
that Appeared to Abraham
were Angels,
and
the Other was
the Lord, Jehovah,
the Son of God;
JESUS.
…
The two Angels and Jesus Christ
were Clothed with Bodies,
Capable of Walking and Traveling,
AND
of Talking and Conversing,
AND
of Eating and Drinking in.
…
THE SAME MAY BE SAID
of the Man that Wrestled with Jacob.
…
THAT “MAN: WAS
None Other than
The Angel of the Covenant,
the Promised Messiah;
JESUS.
…
The Body JESUS appeared in
TO JACOB
was not a mere phantom, spectre,
and apparition,
but palpable flesh,
that was felt and handled,
and grasped,
and held fast, by Jacob.
…
Jacob would not let go
of JESUS
until
JESUS Gave Jacob
the Blessing.
…
However, it is certain
that Jesus Christ
Partook of the same flesh
and blood
as His children and people do;
and therefore,
if their Body is real,
then Jesus’ Body is Real, also.
…
Likewise, Jesus’ Body is called
the Body of His flesh,
His fleshly Body
in Colossians 1:22,
to Distinguish
Jesus’ fleshly Body
from the token of His Body
in The Lord’s Supper,
AS WELL AS,
from Jesus’ Mystical
and Spiritual Body,
His churches.
…
All of JESUS’ Actions,
and what is said of JESUS
from JESUS’ Birth
to JESUS’ Death,
and
in Death and after Death,
Show that JESUS’ BODY
was a True HUMAN Body
that JESUS Assumed.
…
JESUS was Born
and
Brought into the World
as other men are.
…
When JESUS was Born,
His Body Grew
and
Increased in Stature,
as other human bodies do.
…
The Son of man Came Eating
and Drinking.
…
JESUS Traveled through Judea
and Galilee.
…
JESUS Slept in the ship
with His Disciples.
…
JESUS was Seen, and Heard,
and Handled by them.
…
JESUS was Buffered, Scourged, Bruised,
Wounded, and Crucified by men.
…
JESUS’ Body, when Dead,
was requested of the Governor
by Joseph,
AND JESUS’ DEAD BODY
was Taken Down from the Cross
by Joseph,
and Laid in JESUS’ Tomb.
…
THAT SAME IDENTICAL BODY
of JESUS CHRIST
with the Prints of the nails
and spear in
THAT SAME BODY,
was Raised from the Dead,
and
Seen and Handled
by JESUS’ Disciples.
…
JESUS DEMONSTRATED
TO HIS DISCIPLES
that He had flesh and bones,
THAT:
a Spirit has not.
…
Yes,
the Very Infirmities
that Attended JESUS,
although HE WAS sinless,
were Proofs of JESUS’ Body
being a True and Real
HUMAN BODY.
…
JESUS had Fatigue
and Weariness in traveling.
in John 4:6;
“Now Jacob’s well was there.
Jesus therefore,
being wearied with His journey,
Sat thus on the well:
and it was about the sixth hour.”
…
JESUS CRIED TEARS
at the grave of Lazarus,
in John 11:35;
“Jesus wept.”
and
JESUS WEPT
over Jerusalem, in Luke 19:41;
“And when He ( Jesus )
was come near,
He Beheld the city,
and Wept over it”
…
JESUS also
Sweat in the Garden.
in Luke 22:44;
“And being in an Agony
He Prayed more Earnestly:
…
“and His Sweat
was as it were
Great Drops of Blood
falling down to the ground.”
…
In short,
it was through
weakness of the flesh
that JESUS was Crucified;
which was not in Appearance,
but in Reality.
…
The HUMAN BODY that
JESUS ASSUMED
was Mortal,
as it was Proper it should be,
since the end of JESUS’
Assumption of that Body
was to Suffer death in it.
…
But,
ONCE JESUS
RAISED FROM THE DEAD,
JESUS’ HUMAN BODY
BECAME IMMORTAL
and
JESUS’ IMMORTAL BODY
WILL NEVER DIE.
…
NOW,
JESUS’ IMMORTAL BODY
REMAINS,
as the Pledge and Pattern
of the Resurrection
of the Bodies of the Saints,
which will be Fashioned
and Made just like to
JESUS’ GLORIOUS BODY
RESURRECTED to IMMORALITY.
…
THE RESURRECTION
of JESUS’ BODY from The DEAD,
to GLORIOUS IMMORTALITY
will be the Object
of the Corporal Vision of the saints
after their Resurrection,
with Joy and Pleasure,
THROUGHOUT ALL ETERNITY.
